Blame the Youth
Blame the Youth is a photographic archive of youth culture, documenting the ways young people navigate identity, self-expression, and societal expectations. Rooted in my experiences growing up in Turkey, the project captures moments of defiance, vulnerability, and autonomy — tracing the nuances of a generation often judged for simply existing on their own terms.
This project is a six-year archive of her youth, capturing the raw, unfiltered moments that define this stage of life. From her hometown to the places she has lived and explored, it documents the universal spirit of youth. It reflects the diversity of stories and identities, preserving a collective record of belonging, love, and the search for home.
